This is the first 30 of Niko's Daily Lessons.
In addition to the full list of lessons, we also have:
These are not the particle-rich, soul-eating Japanese phrases you find in most classroom textbooks.
Rather, this is language I use every day.
If you scroll to the bottom of this page, you can see some free samples.
I've already made the flashcards for you:
What's going on here?!
So. Much. Information. *_*
Also, you can get through those flashcards even faster if you use...
Podcasts and stuff are cool... but if you're like me, you probably start daydreaming after listening for 3 minutes.
Or you simply don't have time to listen to a 30-minute lesson when you're just walking through the grocery store!
With this course, though, we took 300+ example sentences (from lessons), then had native speakers read them out loud.
This audio is then looped 15 times in what we call a "shadow track."
Usually it's about 45 seconds... of brain-searing Japanese memorization.
You will remember these words. I promise.
The trick is listening and repeating.
I just explained why above.
Did you read that?
Or are you just scrolling with reckless abandon? Come on, yo. Get with it.
You can comment on any lesson with questions about items you found were unclear or that sparked new questions.
I'll then provide whatever guidance I can give, usually after consulting with my team of native Japanese speakers (friends, family, coworkers, etc.)
Have you ever noticed that courses like this are always monthly?
So you pay for a month. Then life happens, and you don't get through all of the content. So then you have to pay for another month. And another month.
Obviously, you cancel.
Fast forward a little while, and you have a surge of free time & motivation. With a monthly course, you have to pay money all over again to get the same content you've already paid for and didn't use. Personally, I think that this type of system discourages language-learning.
If you buy a book from a bookstore, you don't have to return it. That's called a library, and it's free because it sucks not being able to keep stuff. So all of my products are sold with lifetime access.
Go through this content at your own pace. One day. One month. One Year. Whatever works for you. ^_^
What if you decide tomorrow that you don't want to study Japanese?
What if you stole your mom's credit card to pay for this, and she gets mad at you?
That's chill--just email me (niko [at] nihongoshark.com) and ask for a refund within 30 days. I'll send 100% of your money back, no questions asked.
I wouldn't want you to pay for a course you don't actually do, anyways. My number one goal is to help people learn Japanese. If I can make a living helping people learn Japanese, then that's really awesome, but I would never accept money from someone who didn't think that they were getting their money's worth.
Yo! I'm Niko, the founder of NihongoShark.com. I'm also a Japanese translator, writer, and all-around language nerd. I created this site to help as many people master Japanese (any language, really) as possible.
I live in
Tokyo, Bangkok, Sapporo, Saigon, San Diego, Tokyo, San Diego, Chiang Mai! So if anyone wants to meet up for a refreshing nama beer, I'm probably down for that. Or a coffee. Learning Japanese is a betch. But we're in this together. ファイト！
Good luck with your studies!
